Rebuilding the core to unlock product velocity

The product had reached a ceiling. Core workflows were governed by hard-coded logic, making even small changes slow, risky, and expensive to ship.

  • Made the case for a rebuild over continued incremental fixes and got leadership aligned on the risk and rationale
  • Scoped the technical approach and led delivery without disrupting the live product

Workflows became configurable rather than fixed, cutting the cost and risk of change.

Making landscape impact visible

Landscape data was locked in siloed reports, with no clear way to showcase impact. As a result, partners and donors struggled to understand, compare, or invest in landscape initiatives.

  • Defined the need for a public-facing product, not just internal reporting
  • Designed the Explorer and landscape profiles end-to-end
  • Led delivery across engineering, comms and go-to-market, then continued improving the product post-launch

Turned fragmented data discovery into a guided experience, helping partners and funders to find and trust the right data across regions.

Guiding data selection for global sustainability assessments

Users struggled to find and trust the right data to complete sustainability assessments. Sources varied widely by region, and there was no clear way to know what to use.

  • Defined the need for a system to guide users to the right data, not just store it
  • Built recommendations based on assessment context, context and best practices
  • Added curated crowdsourcing so users could suggest useful regional data sources

Turned fragmented data discovery into a guided experience, making it easier to find and trust the right data across regions.

Personal project

Coordinating trusted care in informal networks

Dog owners rely on friends for care, but coordinating it is time-consuming and messy—back-and-forth messages, unclear availability, and constant tracking of who said yes and when.

  • Chose to complement WhatsApp and calendars rather than replace them
  • Designed a lightweight system for scheduling, reminders and key dog-care information
  • Tested with early users, validating matchmaking as a key next step

Reduced the overhead of coordinating trusted care, making it easier for early users to organise schedules and revealing matchmaking as a key next step.

Leading product strategy and execution for LandScale’s next phase of growth

As Senior Product Manager, I define and drive the 2030 product strategy for LandScale, a global sustainability data platform. I lead cross-functional teams across engineering, science and operations, turning strategy into delivery across complex product and go-to-market initiatives. More recently, I’ve been exploring how AI can support data workflows and decision-making, integrating these learnings into the product roadmap.

Scaled a global sustainability platform, unlocking product evolution and helping secure funding

I led product for LandScale during its scale-up phase, owning roadmap and delivery across a $1.2M+ budget. As the product grew, we hit architectural limits that blocked further improvements, so I led a full rebuild to create a scalable foundation for future development. Alongside this, I delivered 10+ features that increased user satisfaction by 50% and helped secure $2M+ in donor funding by turning the product into a credible, decision-making tool.

Led product strategy for an early-stage ML SaaS product, from concept to first commercial validation

As Product Manager at TEKTowr, I owned product strategy for an ML-powered airspace simulation platform at an early commercialisation stage. I worked closely with the CEO and engineering team to define the product vision, shape the roadmap and translate complex technical capabilities into something usable for clients. I also led stakeholder communication and contributed to the revenue model, securing a £25K client demo and validating early product-market fit.

Built and delivered complex SaaS systems as a full-stack engineer

I started my career as a full-stack engineer, building cloud-native applications and simulation systems in a consultancy environment. I worked directly with clients to scope requirements and define product features, bridging technical implementation with user needs. This role gave me a strong foundation in system design, APIs and data flows, and shaped how I approach product development today.

I came into product through software engineering, which shapes how I think about systems, data and what's actually possible. For the last few years I've been building LandScale, a global sustainability data platform at the Rainforest Alliance.

I work in climate because the technology gap for real-world problems is still real. Decisions about land use, supply chains, and conservation are still being made with incomplete, fragmented, or hard-to-trust information. Good product work can change that.

Outside of work I run a supper club, swim in open water, and build small tools for problems I keep running into.

Break the problem down

What are we actually trying to achieve? What needs to be true? Where is the real complexity hiding? I create structure from messy systems before anyone writes a line of code.

Illustration for building with real users

Build with real users

Who are we building for? What are we assuming? Have real people touched this yet? I get products into users' hands early — especially in complex or legacy environments.

Illustration for finding the real value

Find the real value

What's the one thing that matters most? What can we cut without losing it? I find the smallest part of the product that creates the most value, and build around that.

Illustration for maintaining a flexible vision

Keep the vision flexible, but firm

Does this move us forward? Is the strategy still right? What are we saying no to? I am comfortable saying no to work that adds complexity without moving the product towards its goal.

The problem

Dog owners who rely on friends and family for care face a coordination nightmare. Availability is unclear, arrangements scatter across WhatsApp threads, and someone always has to chase. I built Dogcal to make trusted dog care easier to organise — without replacing the informal relationships that make it work in the first place.

What I built and learned

I designed a lightweight scheduling system that integrates with WhatsApp and shared calendars rather than competing with them. Early testing showed that reducing coordination overhead was genuinely valuable, but the bigger opportunity turned out to be matchmaking — connecting owners within a trusted local network. That's the next phase.

Overview

The Wanderfull Supper Club is a rotating dinner series I host at home, bringing together small groups of interesting people around a shared meal. Each event has a theme — a cuisine, a conversation starter, a season — and I cook everything from scratch. It's part dinner party, part experiment in how strangers connect when the setting is right.

Why I started it

I wanted to create the kind of evening I always wanted to attend but rarely found: intimate, unhurried, with good food and conversations that go somewhere unexpected. It's also a practice in hospitality as craft — thinking about flow, balance, surprise. Not so different from product work, really.
